The eighth most-read article from Truck Parts & Service came from May when Navistar announced it had appointed former Peterbilt General Manager Bill Kozek, its president of its North American truck and parts business.

After a 26-year career with Paccar, Kozek succeeded Jack Allen, who was promoted to chief operating officer at Navistar the month before.

“I am eager to be joining this iconic American company at this exciting point in its history,” Kozek said at the time. “Troy, Jack and the entire Navistar team are executing an impressive turnaround, and with its new product launches, the company is well positioned to begin winning back market share. I look forward to working with them and our dealers in helping tolead the company back to its rightful leadership position.”

As vice president and general manager of PACCAR’s Peterbilt division since January 2012, Kozek was responsible for all aspects of Peterbilt’s U.S. and Canadian operations.
