On July 19 Truck Parts & Service announced its finalists for the 2016 Distributor of the Year award. We are now taking a brief look at each nominated distributor.

When was your business founded, and by whom?
The business was founded in 1972 by my father Anthony Naples.
How many locations do you have?
Five locations. Four branches and one distribution/accounting offices. Branches in Riverhead, New Hyde Park, West Babylon and Medford, N.Y. Also a distribution center and accounting office in Medford.
How many employees do you have?
70 employees
What is your company’s value proposition?
To bring our customers not only the largest product offering around but also to have vast knowledge of all of those products. We want to be your one stop source for all your heavy-duty truck parts and accessory needs.
What has been the biggest change in your business over the past calendar year?
E-business. It has made us become more aware of showing our customers the value of dealing with our company over online suppliers.
Why do you believe the heavy-duty aftermarket has nominated you for this award?
I believe we have been nominated in great part because of our culture we have instilled with all of our staff of going above and beyond for our customers. Our beautiful clean and well-maintained showrooms. We want to make a great first impression on all of our customers and sales representatives, new and old. And last but not least is our sales people many of them 25 years plus experience are among the most knowledgeable and friendly in the industry.
