UAP Inc. has announced the acquisition of the assets of Buy-Rite Truck Parts Inc. (Buy-Rite), located in Mississauga, Ontario, effective December 6, 2016.
Founded in 1988 and a member of HDA Truck Pride, Buy-Rite serves the Greater Toronto Area and has been recognized for its high level of service by industry associations, manufacturers and its clients.
“This important acquisition is part of our strategy to expand our presence in the Ontario market, to better serve Traction’s growing client base in the province,” says Pierre Rachiele, executive vice president of the Heavy Vehicle Parts Division of UAP Inc. “We are excited at the opportunities this acquisition will bring for our division as we will leverage the expertise acquired by Buy-Rite over the last 28 years.”
UAP says Buy-Rite’s clients will benefit from the same level of exceptional service and knowledge base to which they have become accustomed while benefiting from Traction’s network and programs. UAP says it will continue to operate at the present location until transitioning the business to its Traction facilities.
