AFA Industries has announced the availability of a new connecting rod for Caterpillar 3304 and 3306 engine/vehicle applications. This is a new connecting rod and not remanufactured, the company says.
The connecting rod is tapered on the pin end and fits1.5-in. wrist pin. The connecting rod comes with part number 8N0702 pin bushing; connecting rod bolt, part number 1P9956; and nut, part number 5S6348, already installed. The pin bushing, connecting rod bolt and nut also are available separately.
AFA Part Nos. 8N1984, 8N0702, 1P9956 and 5S6348 are in stock and available.
