Transtex and SmartTruck jointly announced Monday the latter’s intent to purchase from SmartTruck it’s assets related to Class 8 trailer aerodynamic systems, specifically the TopKit.
The transaction is subject to the parties finalizing a mutually agreeable purchase agreement and completion of due diligence. The closing of the purchase is expected to occur during March 2019.
SmartTruck says it will continue to deliver products to its customers until such time as Transtex is able to step in without interruption.
