Cummins Emission Solutions launches EcoFit Urea Tanks & Lines

Cummins Emission Solutions announced Thursday the launch of its EcoFit Urea Tanks & Lines, establishing a full package aftertreatment system with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology.

“We’re offering the convenience of providing a complete urea tank, line and urea quality sensor, saving customers the time and resources required to source and integrate on their own,” says Marina Savelli, General Manager of Global Off-Highway Business for Cummins Emission Solutions. “We consider these components to be a critical part of the SCR system, and we are excited to offer components that complement the demonstrated performance and reliability of our aftertreatment systems.”

EcoFit Urea Tanks & Lines can be applied across a wide range of on- and off-highway applications from light-duty systems to heavy-duty systems, the company says. Cummins Emission Solutions says it entered into a strategic supplier agreement with SSI Technologies, Inc., and validated the supplied urea quality sensor for use on all engine platforms, providing the right technology solution for customers across all applications.

These systems will be available beginning early 2014 with four tank initial capacities of five, 10, 15 and 30 U.S. gallon or 19, 38, 57 and 114 liters, including a variety of electrically heated urea, or diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) lines, ranging from half meter to three meter lengths, providing added installation flexibility.
