Pluss Corporation debuts service facility product
Pluss Corporation has rolled out a revolutionary new “at-a-glance” management module for busy service facilities. This new module is part of PTM-Vision’s Version 2 release and promises to dramatically improve communications between service managers and service technicians, the company says.
“Many of our customers have been asking for a tool to give them a dashboard view of everything going on in the shop” says Kenny Nau, director of sales at Pluss Corporation. “The new Resource Planning Module not only gives them a complete view of everything in the shop, it also allows the service manager to control everything in the shop. The Resource Planning Module allows the service manager to easily manage jobs, priorities, schedules and delivery times through a simple drag-and-drop interface.”
“One of the key attributes of the Resource Planning Module is it ties directly to our time tracking system for technicians in the shop.” says Todd Adams, director of software development with PTM-Incorporated. “Technicians can see on their monitor what jobs they need to work on and see the priorities.
“If the service manager changes activity on the Resource Planning Module, it instantly updates the technician’s time tracking system. Work can be laid out for the day, and instantly changed as needed. This eliminates confusion between the service manager and the technician.”
