Whelen releases new light

Whelen Engineering has introduced a compact size spotlight/floodlight.  The new light, the Micro Pioneer, is designed to fit almost anywhere on a vehicle, and is ideal for challenging applications, the company says.

The Micro Pioneer is said to feature a die-cast aluminum housing, solid-state electronics and includes four optic lenses; standard for 90 in. by 20 in. wide flood, 40 in. by 20 in. flood, 8 in. by 40 in. horizontal flood and 8 degree spot flood, spread patterns.  Whelen says the optic lens changes easily via four screws in picture frame fixture.
