Wingfoot opens new truck care center

Wingfoot Commercial Tire has continued its on-highway expansion by opening a truck care center in Matthews, Mo.

The new service center in Matthews is located at 701 State Hwy 80 on Interstate 55, exit 58, on the Flying J property.  The truck care center provides trucking fleets with preventive maintenance service, including oil changes, and light mechanical service, including brake, electrical and heating/air conditioning repairs.  In addition, the center offers new and retreaded tires, along with 24/7 roadside assistance.

“Matthews is strategically located on I-55 between St. Louis and Memphis and offers drivers a hassle-free place to stop and have work done on their trucks without facing the heavier traffic near the larger cities on that corridor,” says Clint Schrock, director of on-highway operations.

“We plan to continue our expansion across the U.S., making our services, products, and information available in more locations,” Schrock says.
