Finalists announced for TPS Distributor of the Year Award

Distributor Of The Year LogoAction Truck Parts, Kentucky Truck Parts, Truck Equipment Inc., Vander Haag’s and Westrans have earned positions as finalists through industry nominations for the 2019 TPS Distributor of the Year Award.

Sponsored by Minimizer, Meritor, Interstate Billing and Karmak, this year’s Distributor of the Year program will crown the 18th winner in program history. Founded in 2002, the Distributor of the Year Award seeks to recognize independent aftermarket operations for their customer focus, industry involvement, market knowledge, community involvement and willingness to evolve in a changing market landscape.

Earning a finalist nomination is a first-time honor for many of this year’s businesses. Though Action Truck Parts was previously nominated in 2016 and 2017, this year marks the first nomination for the other finalists.

Nearly 40 independent aftermarket companies were nominated for this year’s award, including four prior winners and seven past finalists.

“Once again I would like to thank the aftermarket for their efforts in nominating these great companies. I am excited to learn more about these businesses over the coming months,” says Lucas Deal, editor, Trucks, Parts, Service.

TPS will profile this year’s finalists on this site and in our magazine over the next five months. The 2019 Distributor of the Year Award will be presented at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2020 in January in Grapevine, Texas.
