The Service Specialists Association (SSA) has postponed its 2020 annual convention to next year due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

In making the announcement, SSA’s board of directors stated, “While certain geographic areas are beginning to open, the progress is slow and the results are unknown. With respect to the health and safety of our members and their families, the SSA board of directors has decided to postpone the upcoming 2020 conference in Savannah, Ga., until 2021.  It was not an easy decision to make, but we feel it is the most responsible course of action.”

In an effort to continue to be a resource for its members, SSA says it plans to hold virtual events in place of the 2020 meeting.

SSA says anyone with questions about the rescheduling of the event or upcoming virtual events can contact the association at [email protected], 224-990-1005.
