Redefining the Road magazine created the award to support Women in Trucking’s mission to promote the accomplishments of companies that are focused on the employment of women in the trucking industry. Nominations were validated by an industry-wide vote involving more than 13,000 professionals in transportation which include executive management, operations and human resources/talent management executives and professional drivers.
The 2020 key features that distinguish companies recognized on the list are: corporate cultures that support gender diversity, competitive compensation and benefits, flexible hours and work life balance, professional development and career advancement opportunities.
