Peach State Truck Centers recognizes employees reaching milestones

Peach State Employee Award WinnersPeach State Truck Centers recently hosted an awards luncheon for more than 100 employees, company executives and family members.

Employees reaching milestones in their career with Peach State — 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, 25 years, 35 years and 40 years — were given a plaque, along with bonuses and additional paid time off.

During the event Peach State President and Dealer Principal Rick Reynolds spoke, as well as Dr. Debbie Phillips, founder of The Quadrillion.

“It was an honor getting to recognize our amazing employees during our service awards luncheon,” says Reynolds. “We are so proud of this group of individuals who have shown their dedication and commitment to Peach State for many years. We are especially proud of Helen Otwell who has been with the company for 40 years. Peach State’s biggest asset is our people and we have the best in the business. We held this awards lunch to show our employees how much they mean to our success.”

One special award given out during the event was the PRIDe award honoring Rena Wiley, who had been nominated by her peers and supervisors for excellence in Peach State’s core values: Passion, Respect, Integrity and Discipline.

Event speaker Phillips has a PhD from Georgia Tech, where she wrote her dissertation on employee engagement. Her presentation dealt with employee engagement and how it relates to building successful teams and businesses.
