Dodging OSHA violations

Few things can suddenly grind your business to a halt faster than an OSHA violation. Productivity lost to safety violations and corrections can take a technician out of service for an extended period and drag down your turnaround times.

Eric Schmitz, vice president of product and business development at KPA Online, said every business will eventually deal with OSHA citations. The key is knowing what causes those citations and how to quickly, and permanently, correct them.

OSHA can show up unannounced at any time, Schmitz added. You need to be prepared.
