TransAxle has been selected by Eaton as one of the first participants in its Authorized Rebuilder program.
As one of three companies worldwide to be recognized as an Eaton Authorized Rebuilder, TransAxle and its sister company TRC, will have the opportunity to remanufacture and sell a differentiated choice for Eaton’s popular lineup of heavy-duty transmissions.
TransAxle/TRC customers will now have expanded options to purchase remanufactured transmissions with 100 percent genuine Eaton components supported by Eaton’s Roadranger service network on a nationwide basis.
“The program has been constructed to provide enhanced value to the rebuilders and ultimately to the end users who purchase our products,” said Bill Fouch, aftermarket marketing manager, NAFTA, for Eaton. “TransAxle has fully participated in the creation of this value added program and their capabilities are first class – we look forward to mutually providing a better option to our Eaton transmission customers across the country.”
To be recognized as an Eaton Authorized Rebuilder, TransAxle/TRC staff were required to take Eaton technical and sales training, meet certain Eaton re-use and rebuild criteria, and must use 100 percent genuine Eaton content for the authorized transmissions.
Eaton will provide TransAxle/TRC with enhanced warranty coverage, and marketing support including signage and tags for the rebuilt units, promotional materials, advertising support and Eaton website notations.
