Weller Truck Parts has announced the acquisition of a cutting-edge facility dedicated to the remanufacture of automated manual transmissions (AMT), electronic axles, laser-welded differentials, CNC machining, and electronic and mechatronic components.

The company says this strategic move solidifies Weller Truck Parts’ commitment to advancing technology and driving innovation in the heavy-duty truck parts aftermarket.

Situated at 1250 60th St., in Wyoming, Mich., the new facility spans 131,150 sq.-ft., on 16 acres. This expansion underscores Weller Truck Parts’ position as an industry leader and showcases its dedication to shaping the future of remanufacturing. The company says this space will be the fifth remanufacturing facility in West Michigan, and the sixth in the Midwest. These remanufacturing plants support Weller-owned distribution centers across the United States, including new locations in San Antonio and Albuquerque, N.M. in 2024.

  • Manufacturing Excellence: The facility's 118,200 sq.-ft., of manufacturing space will be equipped with cutting-edge machinery and technology to support the production of Automated Manual Transmissions, Electronic Axles, and Electronic & Mechatronic Components.
  • Innovative Office Spaces: The 13,370 sq.-ft., of office space is designed to foster collaboration and creativity among Weller’s research and development teams.
  • Precision Design and Machining: The facility is equipped with advanced machining capabilities to support the precision manufacturing of components and for making improvements to original OEM specifications.
  • Employee Ownership: Weller Truck Parts takes pride in being a 100% employee-owned company, fostering a culture of collaboration, shared success, and a vested interest in the company's achievements.
  • Careers Job Creation: The expansion is set to create an additional 130 jobs over the next three to five years. Weller Truck Parts’ commitment to the local workforce is a testament to its investment in the community.
