The affected tires are 295/75R22.5 TY517 MC2 and BluEarth 109L in the same size. The tires were manufactured in West Point, Mississippi, between May 29-June 4. The tires may have been manufactured with an improperly manufactured compound. That can cause the tread to separate from the casing of the tire, increasing the risk of a crash.
A total of 68 MC2 and three BlueEarth 109L tires are believed to be affected, but out of an abundance of caution, the company is recalling more than 6,000. For more information, call (800) 722-9888, email [email protected] or visit this site.
