Noregon announces more information on partnership with ZF

ZF and Noregon partnership

Noregon has announced details of its ongoing collaboration agreement with ZF, a global technology company that supplies systems for commercial vehicles, passenger cars, and industrial equipment.

This collaboration – which started between Noregon and WABCO in 2018 prior to ZF acquiring WABCO in 2020 – helps fulfill the two organizations’ joint goal of providing fleets with unmatched diagnostic solutions and insights for their tractors and trailers, the companies say.

“We have worked closely with ZF for many years and look forward to our continued involvement through this agreement,” says Bill Hathaway, executive chairman at Noregon. “We will continue to pair our diagnostic expertise with ZF’s advanced technology to help meet our shared vision of providing fleets, OEMs, and service providers with the means to improve the health, safety, and performance of their tractors and trailers.”

An initial phase of this agreement will allow Noregon to utilize ZF’s SCALAR platform to incorporate smart trailer data into its remote diagnostic application, TripVision. This integration will enable fleets to monitor their tractors and trailers in real-time from the same application, with access to the necessary information to quickly make impactful maintenance decisions. ZF’s expertise allows the inclusion of unique insights utilizing proprietary braking system data developed from years of market leadership in braking systems, and associated repair instructions, the company says.

“We’re excited to continue our work with Noregon to add further value for our shared OE and fleet customers who have entrusted us as technology leaders,” adds Benjamin Brown, vice president, Key Account Management, Head of Trailer & Digital Sales, ZF Group. “Our combined expertise and resources will help to simplify some of the most complex issues within the commercial vehicle space.”
