The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of Feb. 26, 2024:
- MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers announced the members of its business technology council for 2024. Jim Naso, Applications Data Manager at Continental ContiTech Power Transmission Group will serve as its chair in 2024. Other new executive committee members are Rini Palkamsetty, Head of Information Technology, Americas, Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC; and Mark Seng, Vice President, Sales & Business Development, Predii. Also continuing to serve on the executive committee are Hemant Damani, Director of Information Technology at Niterra North America, Inc.; and Dave Haun, Director of Product Information Management at Gates Corporation.
- Blake Jessen is the new vice president of North America for Driivz, a provider of end-to-end smart EV charging and energy management software.
- Piotr Sroka is the new president and CEO at Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, in addition to his chief operating officer responsibilities.
