Who’s in the news: Our weekly trucking employment report

    The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of March 11, 2024: 

    • DENSO made changes in executive responsibility and transfers of members of the board, effective April 1. Koji Arima is the new representative member of the board, chairman, a change from chairman and CEO. Shinnosuke Hayashi is the new representative member of the board, president and CEO, a change from president and COO. Executive Vice President Yasuhiko Yamakazi will now be representative member of the board, executive vice president. Kenichiro Ito, member of the board, senior executive officer, will be senior executive officer. 
    • Fultra has promoted Dave Kinsley to chief procurement officer (CPO) of Fultra, the parent company of East Manufacturing, Fruehauf, Amparts-Promare, and Sierra Norte.
    •  Marx Buscemi Eisbrenner Group has promoted Gretchen Bennett to account manager.
    • MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers report Elisse Richardson, district sales manager at DRiV, and Bryce Neumeier, global product line manager at Gates Corporation, have achieved the MiX Certification. The certification, presented by MEMA’s Modern Industry eXpertise (MiX) council, was launched early this year.
