Panelists announced for HD Aftermarket Dialogue discussion

The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) and MacKay & Company have finalized participants for the ‘Meeting the Parts and Service Needs of Today’s Fleet’ panel discussion at next month’s Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue event, scheduled for Jan. 23, 2017, at the Mirage in Las Vegas preceding Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2017.

HDMA and MacKay & Company say participants will be:

  • Brian Antonellis of PepsiCo
  • Steve Graham of Schneider National
  • Lee Long of Southeast Freight Lines
  • Scott Perry of Ryder Systems Inc.
  • Gloria Plilar of Swift
  • Dan Samford of Herzog
  • Roy Svehla of Republic Services

HDMA and MacKay & Company say the panelists will address many topics facing fleets in today’s industry, including trade cycles, parts purchasing, maintenance practices, inventory practices and supplier expectations.

The panel discussion will be moderated by industry veteran Stu MacKay, president at MacKay & Company, and split into two parts with a networking lunch in between, giving HDAD attendees the opportunity to join our fleet panelists for lunch roundtable discussions on these topics and more. Due to limited seating, attendees will be selected randomly to join the panelist for lunch.

In addition to the panel discussions, HDAD also will feature an economic forecast from MacKay & Company, and market and economic outlook from Bob Dieli at RDLB, Inc., and Bill Strauss of the Chicago Federal Reserve, as well as discussions on the economics of the heavy-duty aftermarket, the structure and trends of the current heavy-duty aftermarket, the Current architecture of the private label and the battle of the channels.

Organizers say registration to HDAD includes digital presentation materials, breakfast, breaks, luncheon that includes round table discussions with fleets, and the HDAW’17 All-Industry Reception—all intended to facilitate networking with industry peers. Those planning to attend are encouraged to arrive on Sunday, January 22, 2017 to prepare for the conference’s start time of 8 a.m. PT on Monday, Jan. 23, 2017.
