Curt Westphal with HDA Truck Pride speaks about the organization's new FUSE national fleet account program during the organization's Annual Meeting Thursday in Grapevine, Texas.

HDA Truck Pride showcased its new national fleet accounts program, FUSE, as well as improvements to its Truck Service Experts (TSE) program and a growing 20 Group program during a business session at its 2024 Annual Meeting Thursday in Grapevine, Texas.

Curt Westphal, HDA Truck Pride’s director of program development – End User, led the session. He kicked off by focusing on the TSE program, walking group members through the more than $5,000 worth of features and benefits available to TSEs as part of their subscription. Westphal said HDA Truck Pride continues to expand the TSE program to support those locations and their member partners. By offering training and education reimbursement, limited warranty packages, local and national advertising and more, Westphal said the TSE program enables member companies to sell a resource service shops cannot get anywhere else in the industry.

For large customers and shops that rely on HDA Truck Pride for a large volume of products, Westphal said the program should be a no brainer.

“I don’t think it’s for every customer but for the customers you can tie into and work with, it works,” he said. “It will help you when you are going to bat against [another distributor.]”

Westphal also detailed the group’s member service 20 group and TSE 20 group. He said both programs are new to the network and have been developed to offer participants the opportunity for non-competing business leaders to meet regularly for detailed, “nitty gritty” discussions about business operations.

By bringing executives together both in-person and virtually, Westphal said HDA Truck Pride’s 20 groups should help members learn about how their businesses rank against the industry, and areas in which they can improve. Westphal said participants in both groups will be required to sign non-disclosure agreements, which will enable in-depth discussions of financial statements, but will also focus on employment recruiting, marketing, shop productivity and more.

He also said spots are still available in both groups, and a parts-exclusive 20 Group will be developed in the coming year.

Westphal then closed the presentation with a summary of FUSE, the group’s new national fleet account program. Westphal said HDA Truck Pride believes FUSE will be a game changer, a “national account program designed to connect fleets to the HDA Truck Pride network of parts and service providers throughout North America.”

Among the biggest benefits for HDA Truck Pride members of the FUSE program, according to Westphal, will be national marketing efforts, a centralized receivables entity called TreviPay, and the ability for parts and service providers to maintain their own pricing while still participating in the program. Westphal was especially excited about TreviPay. He said the platform manages receivables for many national programs, including Navistar, Paccar and more, and HDA Truck Pride is eager to get all 140 member companies signed up on the portal as quickly as possible.

Westphal said today all member companies are listed on the FUSE site, but after a short introductory period, only members that have registered for TreviPay will be displayed in the FUSE location directory. He added registration takes just five minutes and, once registered, all invoices submitted by member companies through TreviPay will be paid in 30 days or less, guaranteed.
