Participants announced for globalization panel at HD Aftermarket Dialogue

The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) and MacKay & Company have announced Tom Clevinger, senior vice president and general manager – Global Truck & Bus at Navistar, Bill Gordon, president – aftermarket division at Bergstrom, Jeev Khanduja, vice president at Automann, and Emily Poladian, managing director – Asia at Firestone Industrial Products will participate in a globalization panel at the fourth annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue (HDAD) conference, scheduled for Jan. 25, 2016 at The Mirage in Las Vegas, preceding Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2016.

The panel, ‘Global Views of the Heavy Duty Aftermarket; We’re Not Alone Out There!”, will focus on global supply chains, concepts currently working for global distribution, mature vs. developing global aftermarkets, how to manage a global supply network, and the impact of non-North American aftermarket supply on the North American aftermarket.

The segment will be moderated by Tim Walker, executive vice president of sales at Truck-Lite.

As one of three in HDMA’s Heavy Duty Dialogue Series, Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue program will provide insight and a forward look at the heavy-duty aftermarket, with an introduction by Tim Kraus of HDMA and Stu MacKay of MacKay & Company, an aftermarket industry forecast with MacKay & Company, and a market and economic outlook, with heavy-duty industry expert Dr. Robert Dieli, of RDLB, Inc. and financial expert, Bill Strauss, of the Chicago Federal Reserve, organizers say.

Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue 2016 also will feature individual presenters and separate distribution executive panel-discussions with primary topics that include:

  • Current Aftermarket Architecture
  • Economic Update
  • 360° View of the Heavy Duty Aftermarket
  • The Aftermarket’s Future – Discussion of Telematics, Disruptions in Distribution, E-Commerce, Forecast & Outlook, Service Access Issues

HDMA says conference registration will include: printed conference books containing available presentation materials; breakfast, breaks, a networking luncheon, and the HDAW’15 All-Industry Reception – all intended to facilitate networking with industry peers. HDMA says all those planning to attend Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue are encouraged to arrive on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016 to prepare for the conference’s start time of 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 25, 2016.
