The program begins today, includes 22 part numbers that represent roughly 80 percent of the replacement transmission market, and will run through March 15, 2017.
“These are new transmissions, not remanufactured units. These new units are built on the same production lines as transmissions for new trucks,” says Bill Fouch, aftermarket marketing manager, Eaton. “Content and all gearing are 100 percent genuine Eaton and includes all of our latest engineering upgrades.
“With this new promotion, we’re giving our customers even more reasons to benefit from the performance and features of the number one selling transmission in North America, and not having to settle for a locally rebuilt substitute.”
Eaton says the base 3-year/unlimited mileage coast-to-coast warranty may be extended to four years/unlimited mileage when the transmissions are bundled with a new Eaton clutch and Eaton-approved synthetic lubricant. Same-day shipment with no premium charge also will be available for truck-down situations through Eaton’s 15 strategically placed distribution centers during the six-month campaign, the company says.
“The new transmissions represent an important addition to Eaton’s growing aftermarket portfolio that has been designed to provide solutions for all of our customers,” adds Fouch. “During this promotion, our customers still have the option to choose an Eaton Factory Reman transmission if that best meet their needs.”
These new products are available through OEMs, for their dealers and end-user fleets who are operating businesses in the 48 contiguous U.S. states.
