U.S. diesel price falls 0.5 cents, $2.956

The national average retail price of a gallon of diesel fell 0.5 cents to $2.956 for the week ending Monday, June 28. Some market prices increased according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. The price is 34.8 cents higher than a year ago.Fuel Nozzle11

Regions including the Lower Atlantic, Midwest, Gulf Coast and Rocky Mountain fell, while the East Coast, West Coast and California reported higher prices, led by 2.2 cents to $3.147 in California. The cheapest diesel remained on the Gulf Coast at $2.893 a gallon.
