Accuride’s Dauch to moderate panel at HDAD

The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) and MacKay & Company announce Rick Dauch, president and CEO of Accuride, will moderate an economic discussion as part of the fourth annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue (HDAD) conference on Jan. 25, 2016 at the Mirage in Las Vegas preceding Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2016.

The segment, entitled Economic Update, will include Dr. Bob Dieli, president and founder of RDLB, Inc. and Bill Strauss, senior economist and economic advisor of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Together they will discuss of an array of topics affecting the economic outlook for 2016, including the level and trend in employment, the level and trend of trucking activity, and the level of truck utilization as they relate to the current and future heavy duty market, HDMA says.

Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue features individual presenters and panel-discussions with primary topics that include: Current Aftermarket Architecture, 360° View of the Aftermarket, Global Views of the Aftermarket: We’re Not Alone Out There, and The Aftermarket’s Future – Discussion of Telematics, Disruptions in Distribution, E-Commerce, Forecast & Outlook, Service Access Issues.

Conference registration will include: printed conference books containing available presentation materials; breakfast, breaks, a networking luncheon, and the HDAW’15 All-Industry Reception – all intended to facilitate networking with industry peers. Those planning to attend are encouraged to arrive on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016 to prepare for the conference’s start time of 8 a.m. PST on Monday, Jan. 25, 2016.
