AFA Industries has produced new Caterpillar and Cummins natural gas engine parts and kits.
AFA says application engineered pistons that are designed specifically for natural gas engines.
These engines operate in very high-heat conditions and AFA Natural Gas engine parts are engineered to withstand the Natural Gas operating environments, the company says. Using CAD/CAM engineering and production, AFA says its kits aluminum pistons have specifically machined bowls for burning natural gas fuels under the harshest conditions. Piston rings in these kits utilize application specific materials for superior durability. The kit gaskets are manufactured in AFA’s manufacturing facilities using high-temperature materials specific to the natural gas engine environments.
AFA also says it has new aftermarket valve train parts, water and oil pumps, cooling system components, fuel system components, and other engine parts available for complete engine system repairs.
