AFA Industries introduces new In-Frame and Complete Overhaul Kits for the Caterpillar C15 Cover Plate Design 1-piece STEEL PISTON equipped engines.
AFA says it is important for ordering these kits to have the exact engine serial number when specifying these kits as some of them are for 550HP and below engines.
When re-using the Steel Pistons, AFA has specially designed an In-Frame Overhaul kit to rebuild the C15 engines with both the Cover Plate Design 1-piece pistons and the Welded Design 1-piece pistons. Orderers must specify which pistons a particular engine is equipped with in order to get the correct kit, AFA says.
