Panelists announced for ‘360° View’ of the industry at Aftermarket Dialogue

The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) and MacKay & Company have announced the panelists for a roundtable discussion at the fourth annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue (HDAD) conference, to be held January 25, 2016 at the Mirage in Las Vegas immediately preceding Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2016.

The panel, titled ‘360° View of the Heavy Duty Aftermarket,’ will include Lee Long of Southeastern Freight Lines, Mike Eppes of Rush Enterprises, Inc., John Minor of Midwest Wheel Companies, Javier Rodriquez of J&R Fleet Services, Bill Ryan of Point Spring & Driveshaft Co., and Kyle Treadway of Kenworth Sales Company.

According to event organizers, the panel will focus on an array of topics aimed at addressing significant changes seen in the industry over the past ten years. Panelists will discuss the changing customer base, channels serving customer segments, the impact of the growing use of proprietary components, current customer requirements for service, the different service channels, in impact of consolidation, and the importance of supplier relationships, HDMA says.

This segment will be moderated by Mike Delaney, president and CEO of WheelTime.

As one of three in HDMA’s Heavy Duty Dialogue Series, Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue program will provide insight and a forward look at the heavy-duty aftermarket, with an introduction by Tim Kraus of HDMA and Stu MacKay of MacKay & Company, an aftermarket industry forecast with MacKay & Company, and a market and economic outlook, with heavy-duty industry expert Dr. Robert Dieli, of RDLB, Inc. and financial expert, Bill Strauss, of the Chicago Federal Reserve.

HDMA says Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue also features individual presenters and separate distribution executive panel-discussions with primary topics that include: Current Aftermarket Architecture; Economic Update; Global Views of the Aftermarket: We’re Not Alone Out There; and The Aftermarket’s Future – Discussion of Telematics, Disruptions in Distribution, E-Commerce, Forecast & Outlook, Service Access Issues

Conference registration will include: printed conference books containing available presentation materials; breakfast, breaks, a networking luncheon, and the HDAW’15 All-Industry Reception – all intended to facilitate networking with industry peers. Those planning to attend are encouraged to arrive on Sunday, January 24, 2016 to prepare for the conference’s start time of 8:00 am on Monday, January 25, 2016.
