Aperia launches new Halo Connect version at TMC

Aperia Technologies introduced the Halo Connect i3 for medium- and heavy-duty fleets on Monday at the American Trucking Association's Technology and Maintenance Council meeting in New Orleans.

The Halo Connect i3 is an integrated, intelligent automatic inflation solution. It goes beyond ATIS and TPMS offerings, the company says, offering integrated pressure sensing, remote pressure set point adjustments, configurable alerts and customized inflation settings.

"It's a whole bunch of firsts for the market," says Aperia Chief Commercial Officer Ralph Dimenna.

The Halo Connect i3 has Bluetooth, RF, CAN, GPS and LTE connectivity, allowing for two-way communication and seamless integration with other devices and fleet management systems.

"However you want to run your tire program, the way you want to run it," Dimenna says.

Pressure monitoring is integrated into the Halo tire inflator, eliminating the need for separate TPMS sensors. Dimenna says that's a first in the industry, allowing fleets complete control of all truck and trailer wheel positions.
