Tesla has released a video showcasing the current status of its Semi program, including the currently under construction Nevada factory.

The biggest takeaway: Tesla is on track to begin volume production in 2026. Last year at this time, that target date was the end of 2025.

Bear in mind the Semi was first unveiled back in 2017 but, since then, Tesla has continued testing it with various pilot programs, including with PepsiCo and its Frito-Lay Division.

The video below features Tesla Semi program manager Dan Priestley, one of the keynote speakers at the 2025 ACT Expo, who confirmed the factory has been completed and they are "now working on deploying the production lines."

Priestley re-confirmed that once full production is up and running, the goal is produce upwards of 50,000 units annually.
