Truck Master Warranty donated toy trucks to two children's hospitals.
The company, which offers commercial medium- and heavy-duty protection plans, donated hundreds of toy trucks to Akron Children's Hospital in Akron, Ohio, and Children's Mercy Hospital of Kansas City.
"A toy truck is a timeless gift," says Rob Fox, CEO. "It's a classic holiday gift that has never ceased to bring a smile to kids' faces."
Truck Master says it aims to serve its customers and contribute to the communities where employees live and work. Representatives from the company personally delivered the toys to both hospitals and spent time with the children.
"We certainly appreciate this large gift of toy trucks from Truck Master Warranty and delivered just in time for Santa's visit with our patients," says Vicki Parisi, director of volunteer services at Akron Children's. "The community support for our patients and doctors, nurses and other providers who care for them is something we never take for granted and it becomes even more special and magical during the holiday season."
