NDN Inc., which includes operations in Colorado and New Mexico, has joined VIPAR Heavy Duty and expanded its product lineup.
Co-owned by husband-and-wife team James and Natalie Tabet, NDN Inc. operates Filters & Friction in Grand Junction, Colo., and Bubble City Truck Stop in Farmington, N.M. Both locations are expanding into full-line distributors and both are doing so at the behest of their primary customer base who operate in one of the country’s most demanding applications, oilfield extraction and transport.
“We were encouraged by our customers to supply them with new product lines because they depend on our reliability and appreciate that we’re very service oriented,” says James Tabet, NDN vice president. “Oilfield is a 24/7, 365-day business where the trucks are running all the time. As an independent, we’re able to meet the around-the-clock demand, either in-person at the stores or through call outs. If they need it and it’s urgent, we do it.”
James and Natalie (who serves as president) are no strangers to the parts business or the oilfield market. Both have fathers who worked in the natural gas industry. They also previously owned and operated distributorships that were part of VIPAR Heavy Duty. As such, James says they know the value of being part of the network and made it a priority to join it again.
“I enjoy working with customers to create win-win situations where we’re solving problems, where we’re an asset and on the same team, rather than just trying to sell something,” he says. “By opening so many supplier relationships and new product lines, VIPAR Heavy Duty helps us do that.”
VIPAR Heavy Duty Vice President of Business Development Jim Pennig says the organization welcomes NDN to the network and is excited to help them achieve their strategic growth goals.
“NDN has a proven history for prioritizing customers above all else. Their success and growth are in alignment with, and a result of, meeting customer needs in a very demanding market,” Pennig says. “Their work ethic, ingenuity and perseverance are traits that help define the VIPAR Heavy Duty network.”
