Betts Truck Parts to provide drivetrain product support

Betts Truck Parts & Service announces the availability of advanced drivetrain product support through its drivetrain product manager, Shawn Mahoney.

Mahoney is available to support all eight Betts Truck Parts & Service locations in Arizona, California, and Oregon. He helps customers with training in the field and with telephone technical support. Mahoney has also provided extensive training to Betts Truck Parts & Service sales and service teams, extending local expertise throughout the branch network, the company says.

Betts says Mahoney’s drivetrain expertise was forged during the 11 years he spent at Eaton Corporation. From 2001 to 2006, Mahoney was the training manager for the company responsible for managing and delivering training in 10 Western U.S. states.

“When it comes to drivetrain products, whether transmissions, differentials, clutches or related components, Shawn is our resident expert,” says John Devany, sales manager, Betts Truck Parts & Service. “His valuable experience is available to help our customers succeed in the challenging and competitive environment they face each day. Shawn can help customers diagnose driveline problems regardless of brand.”

In addition to his expertise in drivetrain products, the company says Mahoney has experience with fleet software systems. He held the title of sales manager at both Cetaris and TMW Systems.
