Latimer returns to U.S. Lube

Dave Latimer is coming home.

D&M Global Marketing announces U.S. Lube’s founder and former leader is returning to the company as its president and CEO.

Latimer founded U.S. Lube using knowledge he acquired during his 25-plus year career in the trucking industry. He previously led the development and operations of Petro Stopping Centers’ quick-lube, tire and maintenance business – Petro:Lube. Latimer says that “in the pits” experience helped him design the U.S. Lube products that are “designed to improve diesel engine performance, enhance preventive maintenance, and reduce operating costs.”

“I have spent most of my career serving professional drivers — especially owners-operators and small fleets,” says Latimer.  “I know that they are continually looking for ways to reduce their total cost of equipment ownership and operation, especially given the current high fuel prices. Our mission is to help them achieve that goal.”

Latimer’s return to U.S. Lube comes not long after the company’s abandoned acquisition by Howes Lubricator Products. That move was announced in 2013, and revoked in 2014.

In returning to U.S. Lube, Latimer hopes the company also can return to its roots.

The company’s product line, developed using advanced technologies, is available at select truck stops, travel centers, truck dealerships, truck repair centers, and parts stores nationwide.  U.S. Lube’s initial line-up of products is geared to the needs of professional, over-the-road drivers. The U.S. Lube starting line-up includes products ranging from oil and fuel additives to an upper-cylinder lube and hub oil, the company says.

The company’s flagship product is U.S. Lube Oil Enhancer — a one-of-a-kind additive, which raises oil pressure, improves engine power, and protects engine oil from heat and corrosion.

Made of 100 percent petroleum U.S. Lube’s Upper-Cylinder Lube is specially formulated to clean fuel injectors, while also helping to increase power and fuel economy.  The company says this product helps dissolve carbon build-up, which is often responsible for burning pistons while complying with federally mandated ULSD diesel.  Truck owners will also be in compliance with their manufacturer warranties if they use any U.S. Lube products as directed.
