Axalta Coating Systems held its first quarterly 2016 Commercial Transportation Business Council meeting from Jan. 6-8, 2016, in Dallas, Texas.
Commercial Transportation Business Council members kicked-off the new year with a strategy review, followed by a discussion on paint and materials reporting and welcomed a new member. Axalta managers presented information on new Axalta products, strategic marketing programs, enhanced services and color developments. Representatives from Mitchell International, the manufacturer of TruckEst, provided information on their automated estimating system for medium and heavy-duty trucks.
The meeting concluded with a tour of the Peterbilt manufacturing facility located in Denton, Texas. For decades, Peterbilt has used Axalta Imron Elite in the production of its premium-quality heavy-duty trucks.

The Axalta Commercial Transportation Business Council was established in 2009 by a group of commercial fleet customers from across the U.S.
