American Trailer Rental Group (ATRG) announced it has completed the acquisition of Ervin Equipment’s rental fleet in Laredo, Texas. The deal, which closed April 30, 2021, adds a location in the key south Texas market for the Advantage Trailer Rental brand. The deal closed April 30, 2021.
ATRG is a family of companies with a rental fleet approaching 16,000 units representing some of America’s most respected regional trailer rental providers. The company operates under the Meisler Trailer Rental, First in Trailer Service, Fleet Trailer Rental, Advantage Trailer Rental and Arizona Storage Trailer Rental brands.
The announcement represents the company’s sixth acquisition since equity sponsor Milton Street’s formation of the American Trailer Rental Group in June of 2017. This event, coupled with greenfield initiatives, brings our total number of rental locations to 17.
The Laredo location will be led by Nicole Roberts, who is also the general manager of our Austin and San Antonio locations. She is an experienced veteran of the trailer business and is fluent in Spanish to assist our Spanish speaking customers in this market.
