Velocity Truck Centers (VTC) announced Tuesday the company has further expanded into the Mid-South with the acquisition of Kentucky Freightliner Trucks.
The acquisition of Kentucky Freightliner Trucks brings the important Lexington, Ky., market into the VTC network, and expands the company's overall network to 65 locations across North America. VTC offers coast-to-coast coverage of commercial vehicle sales, service, parts, collision and fabrication services as well as equipment financing. VTC says it brings unparalleled customer focus, including two hour Express Assessment, Elite Support Certification and equipment financing through its Crossroads Equipment Lease and Finance division to Central Kentucky.
“We are pleased to add Lexington to what is now the most comprehensive sales, service and support network in the Mid-South and South-East. It has been a pleasure to work with owners Todd and Ed Bray through this process,” say VTC Co-Presidents Brad Fauvre and Conan Barker. “We are very pleased to welcome the strong team of dedicated employees into Velocity. The continuity of management along with enhanced resources and support will benefit the commercial truck community in the Lexington area.”
Todd Bray adds, “Since 1995 Ed and I have been proud to work with the dedicated team of employees at Kentucky Freightliner, many of whom now have 25 years with the company. The success of Kentucky Freightliner Trucks was built by the long-term dedication of our employees to the highest level of service for our customers and focus on honest dealings and good old fashioned hard work. We are happy that Velocity will continue that history and that our customers and employees will be well taken care of into the future.”
