Multi Parts (MPS) acquired American Chrome Company (ACC), it announced Tuesday.

"This is a great day for everyone at ACC," says Linda Hou, president of ACC. "MPS' best-in-class ability to engineer mechanical, electrical and electronic parts for every vehicle type is going to supercharge our ability to bring new products and services to our customers."

ACC was founded in 1983 by the Hou family. It is a distributor of chrome wheel accessories for heavy-duty trucks. It supplies OEMs and others in the heavy-duty truck and trailer markets with both aftermarket and production parts and accessories. It maintains an 80,000-square-foot distribution center in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

MPS is a developer and provider of aftermarket parts to suppliers and global brands. It provides product design and development, manufacturing, testing and quality control, logistics and customer support from locations in North America, Europe and Asia.

"Every ACC customer that I have spoken with has praised the culture of service and quality built by the Hou family," says Brian Cohn, CEO of MPS. "As a product of a family business myself, I am honored that they have chosen Multi Parts and our sponsors at Radial Equity Partners to preserve and enhance that legacy."
