Amerit Fleet Solutions acquired Pro Reefer, the company announced Thursday. Pro Reefer is a Canadian maintenance provider specializing in refrigerated trailer units.

"This acquisition allows us to further support customers while expanding our service capabilities and geographic reach in Canada."

Pro Reefer was founded in 1998 with a focus on reefer systems and has served customers in food distribution, cold chain logistics and temperature sensitive freight, providing preventive maintenance, emergency repairs and compliance driven service solutions.
