The Pete Store enters Florida with acquisition

The Pete Store  announced it has completed the purchase of Palm Peterbilt Truck Centers, a truck dealer group with six locations in South Florida, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Fort Pierce, Clewiston and Fort Myers.

The acquisition extends the company’s footprint of Peterbilt dealerships to include eight states and 23 locations spanning 1,500 miles on the East Coast, the company says.

“I am excited to welcome Palm Peterbilt Truck Centers to The Pete Store family,” says The Pete Store CEO John Arscott. “South Florida is a market with tremendous long-term potential and an important addition to our network of locations on the East Coast.”

Earlier in December, The Pete Store announced the opening of a new facility in West Columbia, S.C., and in November The Pete Store announced the grand opening of a full-service Peterbilt dealership, The Peterbilt Store – Western Massachusetts, located in Springfield, Mass.
