Great Dane and Microban International have announced a new partnership that provides Microban antimicrobial product protection exclusively in Great Dane’s Everest reefers.
This breakthrough science will be standard in Great Dane’s PunctureGuard and ThermoGuard reefer liners.
The patented Microban technology is built into the Everest’s liners during the manufacturing process, resulting in antimicrobial protection for the life of the liner, measured using established international laboratory protocols, the company says. The technology does not wash off or wear away and helps provide ongoing protection against the growth of bacteria that can cause stains, odors and product degradation.
The benefits of Microban antimicrobial product protection include improved visible and invisible cleanliness, reduced odors and, ultimately, extended product life for Great Dane customers.
Everest trailers with Microban product protection and other innovations debuted at the recent Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tenn. At the show, Great Dane also introduced a new smart trailer telematics concept, an improved rear impact guard, and other product enhancements.
