Nextran Truck Centers has received three prestigious awards based on its performance on behalf of the Mack Trucks‘ brand in 2016.

The three Nextran awards are: Mack Trucks Southeast Rental and Leasing Dealer of the Year; Mack Financial Services (MFS) United States Dealer of the Year; and Mack Trucks United States Rental and Leasing Dealer of the Year. Mack says consideration for the MFS Dealer of the Year Award is based on several different factors, including retail finance volume funded as well as a metric called retail penetration, measured as new Macks financed vs delivered. Nextran was the top finance volume producing dealer in the U.S. for Mack Financial Services in 2016, funding more than $63 million for Nextran’s retail customers, as well as its leasing affiliate, Nextran Truck Rental and Leasing, the company says.
“Nextran continues to pursue those initiatives that drive success for the Mack Brand and, most importantly, our mutual customers,” says Jonathan Randall, senior vice president of North American Sales. “We congratulate them on their well-earned recognition toward that effort and are proud to have them as a partner.”
Nextran is also set to open its 15th Truck Center in Q2 of this year, strategically located in the Atlanta area and expected to create about 80 new jobs. The 55,000 sq.-ft., state-of-the-art facility will house both sales, parts and service functions, elevating their commitment to the Atlanta metro area, the company says.
