Central Coast Truck Center – Santa Maria will provide a larger inventory of genuine parts, more service bays and technicians and a larger inventory of new and used Freightliner and Western Star trucks. The company says it also is being designed to bring a higher level of technology to the Central Coast truck community with a state-of-the-art dynamometer, for example.
With this expansion, California Truck Centers says it will be adding service technicians, parts and truck sales representatives and office staff.
The company will be breaking ground on the new dealership, located on West Stowell Road at Hanson Way, in coming months. The current Central Coast Truck Center in Santa Maria at 621 South Smith St., Santa Maria, will remain open until completion of the new facilities.
In addition, California Truck Centers has begun collaborating with Santa Maria High School District and Allan Hancock College to assist them in their Diesel Technician education efforts, the company says.
