Rush Truck Centres of Canada has completed the acquisition of assets of Archer Truck Services Limited located in St. Catharines and Welland, Ontario, the company announced Wednesday.
“This acquisition aligns with our strategy to grow and expand our geographic footprint throughout Ontario. With the addition of two dealerships in Southern Ontario we now offer unparalleled customer support from a total of 16 locations and 6 associate stores,” says Kevin G. Tallman, CEO, Rush Truck Centres of Canada.

They share the same values and beliefs as we do when it comes to serving our customers and employees and we look forward to the many added products and services we can now bring to our customer base in Welland and St. Catharines,” says R.K. (Rob) Butter, general manager, Archer Truck Services.

According to the company, Archer Truck Services will now operate as Rush Truck Centres of Canada – St Catharines, and Rush Truck Centres of Canada – Welland.
Rush Truck Centres of Canada says R.K. (Rob) Butter will continue as the general manager for both locations. The company also congratulations to long-time industry veteran and owner G.R. (Bob) Butter as he transitions into retirement.
