Product technology and service innovation continue to propel the aftermarket to greater levels of efficiency, productivity and profitability. Many of these advancements were featured in the Showcase and Literature Review departments of Truck Parts & Service magazine throughout the year. Accompanying each item was a Reader Service Number that allowed readers to fax or mail a Reader Service Card request for additional information to be provided by the appropriate manufacturer.
Ten years ago we were proud to introduce the first annual Top 20 collection, a listing of Showcase and Literature Review items that generated the most inquiries from those Reader Service Cards.
This year we once again present, in alphabetical order by manufacturer, the most popular product and literature items (10 each) featured in Truck Parts & Service magazine during 2008. The results of our Top 20 products and literature are based purely on the number of reader inquiries each item received during 2008. Inquiries generated from advertising messages were not included in our count.

An updated Meritor drive axle catalog is available for its flagship 40,000 tandem line-haul axle family.
This book includes complete carrier exploded views and bills of materials for the 140,141,143,144 and 145 models.
Also included are sections for axle shafts, housing assemblies, wheel-end parts, output (thru) shafts, end yokes, flanges and service kits.
