LED Trailer Dome Lamp
The new Permalite green light-emitting diode (LED) trailer dome lamp was developed to improve the contrast and visual clarity of interior trailer lighting, said Phillips Industries.

Green-tinted light is said to reduce eye fatigue and glare in contrasting conditions. The product uses the same technology as the company’s current LED. It has an unbreakable lens, outputs the same lumens, draws the same .91 amps and has the same dimensions. The product offers constant light output across the entire voltage range and is designed to work in extreme temperatures (-40F to 140F).

Electronic Brake Control
Valley’s Journey HD Electronic Brake Control is available pre-wired for many tow vehicles. The pre-wired adjustable brake control has the factory tow harness mating connector already attached and ready to plug into the tow vehicle, said the company.

The product offers full-power capabilities and stop-lamp activation when manual override is employed. It mounts anywhere inside a vehicle and has a digital display.

The brake control creates no output interference with the vehicle’s electrical, cruise control or antilock braking systems and is for use with one to four axle trailers with two, four, six or eight brake systems. The unit is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Shaft Collars
Stafford Manufacturing Corp. developed the Stafford Wrenching Shaft Collars, a line of two-piece shaft collars designed to let users rotate a shaft or pipe to simplify assembly, adjustments and maintenance.

The shaft collars are available in multiple sizes. Machined from steel and fully split, they have smooth bores to provide additional protection for precision shafts, pipe and thin-wall tubing, said the company.

New APEM LED Indicators
APEM Components introduced its Q-Series of LED indicators available in red, green, yellow, blue and white, as well as bicolor, tricolor and flashing. The indicators come in three different package sizes: 6, 8 and 14 millimeters; three bezel sizes: prominent, recessed and flush; and three bezel finishes: bright chrome, black chrome and satin gray.

The company said unique features include solder lug/quick connect terminals, wire terminations and 200mm elongated wires. Integral resistors provide direct connection to 12 VDC, 12 VAC/DC, 24 VDC, 24 VAC/DC, 110 VAC and 220 VAC.

In-Line Filters
Industrial Specialties Manufacturing developed a group of in-line filters for ease of serviceability, according to the company.

The filter cartridge is visible through the clear, polycarbonate housing and a twist of the bayonet-style fastener separates the housing components for cleaning or replacement of the cartridge.

The cartridges are available in a range of filter microns in both porous and plastic cone design. I.D. barbs are the standard ends, but optional threaded fittings are available.

Ends also can be provided in male and female luers and elbows. The filters will operate in air, vacuum and some fluid applications.

Diesel Exhaust Systems
Flowtech announced the release of its single and dual outlet Turbo-Back Diesel Exhaust Systems for 2001 to 2004 GM extended-cab long bed and club cab short and long bed applications powered by the 6.6L Duramax diesel engine.

The robotic welded systems are mandrel bent from 4 inch, 16-gauge aluminized tube. All systems include a seven inch round muffler with a free flow perforated core and all outlet systems include polished stainless steel four inch to five inch slash-cut exhaust tips.

Lift Kits
Revtek Industries has developed 4.5 inch and 6 inch lift systems for 2008 Ford Super Duty Trucks. Both systems use a coil spring for increased height in the front while the rear suspension lift method differs. The 4.5-inch lift system uses a lift block in the rear, while the 6-inch system incorporates both a lift block and an additional leaf spring designed for the 2008 application.
