Premixed Refrigerant Oils
Tracer Products has introduced a line of universal ester (POE) and PAG refrigerant oils premixed with ultraviolet dye. Specially formulated for mobile air conditioning systems, these oils contain OEM-approved Fluoro-Lite fluorescent dye that is co-solvent free.
The dyes are said to be safe to use with all types of refrigerants and compressors. In addition to R-134a miscibility, they also are said to offer enhanced lubricity and stability and are formulated with antiwear properties.
According to the company, the dyed oils are nontoxic and nonhazardous and they work with any standard fluorescent leak detection lamp.
The dyed oils are available in 8 oz., 32 oz. and one gallon sizes.

3M Automotive introduces two new videos on its Wheel Weight System. The first video is informational and demonstrates the value and benefits of the system from lower environmental impact to ease of installation.
The second video is instructional and provides viewers with a step-by-step guide to proper wheel weight application from surface preparation to weight placement with the use of an electronic wheel-balancing system.

Spray Control Systems announces its Minimizer custom engraved mud flaps. According to the company, unlike hot-stamped or embossed flaps, custom engraved flaps will maintain their color and vibrancy.
Using a proprietary process, the company developed this new mud flap out of a durable poly material. Customers can choose their own symbol, logo, name or word which then is etched into each flap.

Sloan Transportation Products offers a line of Michelin branded wiper blades. The wiper blades are designed with components that are said to stand up to the rigors of heat, rain and snow.
Metal rivets provide a stronger connection, according to the company. A standard graphite coating over the rubber blade reduces friction and extends blade life.
The blade is manufactured using heavy-duty 304 stainless steel for strength.

Klein Tools introduced nine new versions of its 5002 Series multi-pocket canvas tool bags. The bags are now available in 16-inch, 18-inch and 20-inch sizes, and in blue, orange and yellow.
The canvas bags feature multiple pocket configurations so users can separate, store and organize tools. The 16-inch bag has eight pockets, the 18-inch bag has 10 pockets and the 20-inch bag has 14 pockets.
Constructed of No. 8 colored canvas, the bags are said to be able to withstand everyday use. The vinyl-reinforced bottom extends up the sides of the tool bag for extra support and moisture resistance.

The Ultimate Tool Box is constructed with polished door fronts featuring a “mirror-like” finish. Two T-handle twist locks are said to be easy to operate and are keyed alike. Industrial strength aluminum construction offers greater structural strength, according to the company.
The tool box is available in two-door and one-door models in a choice of 18-inch or 24- inch depths. The two-door model is reversible so the twist locks can be on the left- or right-hand side of the door.

Klein’s Journeyman line of tools expands with the addition of new side-cutting pliers with built-in crimper and tape-pulling channel. The new Journeyman J2000-9NECRTP features a multi-purpose design and contoured, cushioned handles. The crimper is for use on non-insulated connectors, lugs and terminals, while the channel can pull steel fish tape without damaging the tape. With nearly twice the brightness of previous models, the new Permalite LED8 Trailer Dome Lamp from Phillips Industries uses eight advanced LEDs for greater energy efficiency and illumination. According to the company, the LED8 draws 1.15 amps at 12 volts.
The lamp is designed for use inside trailers and is protected by a low-profile, impact resistant, polycarbonate shell and lens. It can function in extreme temperature conditions so it can be used in refrigerated trailer units.

More secure and efficient storage are two benefits of Remstar’s Shuttle Vertical Lift Module (VLM), the company says. The Shuttle VLM system can reduce necessary floor space by up to 85 percent. Access to the system’s storage trays can be controlled through programmable personnel logon identification, and the system can track who accessed inventory and at what time.
The access control feature works with FastPic IC inventory control software and can be reprogrammed quickly to address changes in inventory or security needs.
The Shuttle VLM is an enclosed system of vertically arranged trays, an extraction platform and computer-driven controls that allow operators to stay in one place while the system delivers the desired items to an ergonomically positioned workstation, according to Remstar.
