Ceramic-Formula Disc Brake Pad
Marathon Brake Systems has developed a disc brake pad for heavy-duty truck and transit vehicle air brake systems. The pad is composed of ceramic fibers and brass chips and helps control brake noise and dusting, said the company.
The brake pad features a secure-lock backing plate designed to assure lining-to-plate attachment. The formula also eliminates the poor stopping power that can result when metallic brake pads are cold, said the company.

Roadranger Marketing has published an updated four-disc CD set that packages more than 1000 product and service documents from Dana and Eaton, providing a Roadranger system and service product library.
The library eliminates printing, shipping and downloading times and includes basic fundamentals, driver training information, lubrication tips, troubleshooting guidelines, illustrated parts lists and warranty information. It contains literature that has been translated into Spanish and French.

Multipurpose Borescope
Tracer Products has introduced the Cobra-6, a 38″ long, multipurpose borescope featuring interchangeable blue- and white-light light-emitting diode flashlights.
The scope is designed to help technicians inspect for leaks and check hard-to-see components, such as pistons, intake valves, air conditioning evaporators, fuel systems, radiators and EVAP systems without disassembly, according to the company.
The product comes equipped with a press-fit coupler that helps attach the flashlights to the borescope. It also has a clip-on, angled inspection mirror for added flaw detection ability.

Chemical Resistant Garb
Kimberly-Clark has introduced three products that provide chemical resistance for workers.
The protective product bundle contains KleenGuard G80 Purple Nitrile chemical resistant gloves, KleenGuard G80 Neoprene/latex chemical resistant gloves and the KleenGuard A70 chemical spray protection coveralls.
Both glove offerings feature a glove shape based on more than 40 dimensions for fit, a 13″ length to protect forearms and hands, textured fingers for grip and a cotton flock lining.
The coveralls have taped and bound seams, a seamless chest area and an elastic waist.
