ArvinMeritor has appointed Larry Burgin to the position of vice president and general manager, trailer products, under the Commercial Vehicle Systems business unit. Burgin will be responsible for growing the worldwide commercial trailer business and will focus on strategic customer-oriented initiatives, including new products and technologies needed by global customers to compete and maximize performance from the trailer, said the company.
It was also announced that Jim Whirt has been named Southeast regional manager for ArvinMeritor’s Commercial Vehicle Systems business. He will direct a team of 12 district managers who serve the needs of fleets and dealers in eight states.
